Jeremy Hunnewell, CPA, is the founder and managing director of EMH Strategy, a boutique management consulting firm headquartered in New Orleans, LA. In this role, Jeremy oversees engagements and firm associates and is responsible for developing new business. Jeremy earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, with concentrations in Management & Strategy and Analytical Consulting, and a BBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he majored in Accounting and Information Systems. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has extensive financial and operational auditing experience with major clients from the finance and manufacturing sectors, including Tyco, Fidelity, Honeywell, and Credit Suisse. Before launching EMH Strategy, Jeremy completed a one-year fellowship at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago where he was responsible for planning the chapter’s emergency response activities and instituting process improvement initiatives. Jeremy has taught Entrepreneurial Management at Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business, and is regularly invited to speak on the intersection of accounting and entrepreneurship. He has been a judge for business plan competitions, coach and advisor to a handful of startup organizations, and was honored to serve on Mayor-Elect Mitch Landrieu’s transition team, City Financial Systems and Policy Task Force. Jeremy is currently the Treasurer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana, Chair of the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center and Chair of the Service Committee for the Rotary Club of New Orleans. He lives with his wife, Genevieve and their toddler daughter Elise in Uptown New Orleans.
